COINCIDENCE
OR
GOD’S VOICE TO HIS FRIEND?
Timing is everything.
Monday, while working, I needed to pick up something at Lowe’s.
I had grabbed a light breakfast at McDonald’s and decided to eat in the Lowe’s parking lot before going in.
The radio was on, Through the Bible, with J. Vernon McGee, and I was glancing at Facebook as I ate.
Guy Guy McGraw Sermons had posted one of my all time favorite verses from Psalms.
Psalms 16:11 You will make known to me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; In Your right hand there are pleasures forever.
As I read these words, at the very moment my eyes landed on “in Your presence is fullness of joy”, the voice of J. Vernon McGee said, “in Jesus’ presence is fullness of joy.”
At the exact moment.
Timing.
This preacher died years ago. The radio program is a five year program going through the entire Bible. Over all the years that he recorded his messages for future playback, this phrase played on my radio at the exact moment on the exact day when my eyes read the words from another source.
If this is God’s voice, shouldn’t I think on what He is telling me?
This is one thing I came up with.
If you spend your life pursuing your own happiness, happiness will elude you, and you will never find Joy.
In a life that has the Son of God, there is a fullness of joy, and a happiness that stems from walking in the purpose He has made you for.
The difference between Life and death.
“He who has the Son has life. He who does not have the Son of God does not have life.”
Life tastes good.
